Shelf Control is a meme run by Lisa at Bookshelf Fantasies. It is a weekly celebration of the unread books on our shelves. Pick a book you own but haven’t read, write a post about it (suggestions: include what it’s about, why you want to read it, and when you got it), and link up!
For more info on what Shelf Control is all about, check out Lisa’s introductory post.
I’m tackling my unread books in order of acquisition, looking at the books that have been sat on my shelf the longest.

What’s It About?
Perfect for fans of Sliding Doors.
Thea and Isaac have always been friends, despite his constant jokes, despite her stubborn belief in time travel… despite the distance between them.
But when Isaac returns home from New York when their friend goes missing, suddenly things aren’t as they were. Something is different.
Thea and Isaac have always been friends. But maybe that wasn’t how it was supposed to be.
Why Do I Want to Read It?
I loved Katie Khan’s debut novel, Hold Back the Stars, and I had this on pre-order as soon as I heard about it. I’m quite disappointed that I haven’t managed to get to it yet, but creating this post has reminded me of how excited I was about it – I’ll definitely try to read it in the next month or so.
