After a rough January, things definitely improved in February. Ok, the weather has been awful with one storm after another, and it’s snowing as I sit typing this (which pleases me greatly, I must admit!), but I’ve felt happier this month, and it’s been really nice to see the days get gradually longer and there still being a hint of daylight when I get home from work in the evening.
It’s still the season for hiding inside from the weather (I’m going to have to think of an equivalent excuse come summer!), and I’ve read some excellent books of late. I posted ten reviews in February, of which my favourites were:
- Three Hours by Rosamund Lupton
- The Daylight Gate by Jeanette Winterson
- The Dreamers by Karen Thompson Walker
I also reviewed:
- Beast by Matt Wesolowski
- The Devil’s Dice by Roz Watkins
- The Hound of Death by Agatha Christie
- The Masked City by Genevieve Cogman
- When You See Me by Lisa Gardner
- Little Friends by Jane Shemilt
- The Aosawa Murders by Riku Onda
TBR Watch
My TBR has increased slightly this month, after I went on a couple of impromptu book-buying trips! I regret nothing! 😀
I loved those reviews too Jo! How exciting you’ve got snow it’s been raining here, again. 😦
Thank you, Nicki! The snow didn’t last long, unfortunately 😦
