My Book Moment Unboxing – February 2019

I’m thrilled to be sharing the contents of the first My Book Moment box which I received last week.  You can find out more about My Book Moment at their website, but this is a new monthly box where you can choose between popular fiction or crime and thriller.  Whichever option you choose, the book will be a new paperback release and the box will also come with a hot drink and snack plus a third, mystery item.  At £12 per box, I think that this makes a great gift for the book lover in your life, or for when you fancy a little treat for yourself! 😉

MBM Feb 19 #1I love that the slim design of My Book Moment fits through the letter box, helping to avoid a trip to the local sorting office.  And the packaging is all recyclable too, using card and paper to protect the goodies inside.  While it has a slim design, I was really impressed with the contents of the box, which was jam-packed with lovely treats.

I received the Crime and Thriller box, which included a copy of You Let Me In by Lucy Clarke.  I’ve not read this, but I’ve heard good things about it, and so I was really pleased to find it in this month’s box.

There’s a new coldness. A shift in the atmosphere. The prickling feeling that someone is watching her every move from the shadows.

Maybe it’s all in Elle’s mind? She’s a writer – her imagination, after all, is her strength. And yet every threat seems personal. As if someone has discovered the secrets that keep her awake at night.

As fear and paranoia close in, Elle’s own home becomes a prison. Someone is unlocking her past – and she’s given them the key…

The box also contained a bar of Divine Chocolate.  This is white chocolate and strawberry, and certainly lives up its name of divine! ❤  There was also a lovely liquid lipstick from Phase Zero, and two flavoured teas from Clipper – peppermint and wild berry.

I’m really impressed with this book box, and I like that the website offers you the choice between a regular subscription and a one off purchase, allowing you to pick and choose between the boxes, as well as letting you get a box when you feel like giving yourself (or someone else!) a little treat while the subscription package provides a discount if you sign up for 12 months.  The contents were of excellent quality, and I think that this is a welcome addition to the book box subscription market.
