Spell the Month in Books

Spell the Month in Books – January 2024

Spell the month in books is a challenge that I’ve seen on a few blogs, but most recently on https://portobellobookblog.com/ (do give Joanne a follow if you aren’t already – I love her passion for all things books and reading). I’ve been tempted to take part a few times, and had a vague idea of including it in my monthly wrap up post. In drafting up that post, I decided that it didn’t work very well, but rather than letting all that hard work go to waste (I’ve planned out the whole year already, which is a very me thing to do) I decided to post it anyway! Future months will be delivered in a more timely fashion and not on the last day of the month! 🤣

There is a more formal link up hosted by Jana at https://reviewsfromthestacks.wordpress.com/ with suggested themes each month. I decided that I just wanted to have fun trawling through my shelves and picking out titles new and old, and so I’m not going with the chosen themes, and will just do my own thing. This is also a very me thing to do.

My choices for this month (with links to my reviews if available – some of these I read a long time ago!) are:

  1. Thanks for the mention. Well done on finding books on your shelf to create a stack! Some tricky letters for January.

    1. You’re welcome! Yes – one of the reasons I wanted to plan out the year before committing was to check I had enough physical books to cover the letter Y in particular! I also hadn’t realised how many times the letter U occurs throughout the year…
