What a month! I’m sure it was May, and yet the weather has been decidedly mixed this month, with more frost than I’m used to at this time of year. It’s been a good month despite this, and I managed to get away for a few days to go camping. Of course, my timing was atrocious, and I went to Dartmoor the weekend before the lovely bank holiday weather. It was nice to get away though, and to be honest, once the tent is up I don’t think it matters too much. And it gave me time to read books and drink wine, so overall it was a pleasant experience and it was nice to get away and relax and recharge for a few days.
This does mean it’s been a relatively quiet month on the blog, although I managed to post reviews for eight books alongside a couple of additional posts. It was also my blog’s six year anniversary this month, and while I would usually do something to mark the occasion, I wasn’t that organised this year. I might do a giveaway on Twitter later this week, but I make no promises! 😀

Just one book for review this month:
And the books I bought (don’t judge me!):
TBR Watch
Ummm…
- Books out = 11 read + 0 DNF* = 11
- Books in = 1 ARC + 14 purchases = 15
- Equals an increase of 4 in my TBR
*Unusual, but it has felt like a good reading month.
No judgement here, Jo… People in glass houses and so on and so forth 😅
🤣
Kelly’s right, “let he who is without sin …” I for one was my usual sinful self 🙂
I regret nothing! 😀
