Monthly Wrap Up

The month that was… February 2021

February was a definite improvement on January. Daylight hours are increasing, and I’ve been able to get out and walk (locally) quite a bit this month. The weather is also improving, and there’s a definite hint of spring in the air. With the recent announcement of lockdown restrictions being gradually reduced over the coming months, I’m starting to feel a little more optimistic about things.

Blogging has taken a bit of a backseat this month, for no real reason other than my own laziness! I’m hoping to get back into the swing of things in March and will aim to post a little more frequently. Famous last words!

Books Read and Reviewed

I really am behind on my reviews at the moment, aren’t I?! 😬

I posted an excerpt of If I Fall by Marilyn Davies as part of the blog tour.

Incoming!

These are the books I received for review this month:

And the books I bought:

TBR Watch 🕵🏻‍♀️

I haven’t done quite so well at reducing my TBR this month. It’s not gone up, but nor has it reduced:

  • Books out = 9 read + 4 DNF* = 13
  • Books in = 6 ARCs + 7 purchases = 13
  • Equals a reduction of 0 in my TBR 🤦🏻‍♀️

*I may come back to some of the DNFs at a later date, but for now they have been removed from my TBR.

I am at least clearing out some of the older titles on my TBR!

  1. It’s okay to fall behind sometimes so don’t be hard on yourself! I’m looking forward to seeing more of your reviews when you catch up. It looks like you had a great reading month!

    1. Thank you, Louise! You’re right – and I have to admit, I enjoyed the slightly more relaxed pace! 🙂

    1. It is the UK edition, and I much prefer it to the US version, although I find that’s generally the case… 🙊
