What a month! For whatever reason, October just felt like too much. Work has been far too busy, and wasn’t helped by me feeling awful for at least half of the month with a combination of coughs, colds, and a random sickness bug. I’m optimistic for a better month in November, not least because it’s my birthday this month! 😀
Of the books I reviewed in October, my favourites were:
I also posted reviews of:
- Survivors by G. X. Todd
- Bloody Rose by Nicholas Eames
- Picnic at Hanging Rock by Joan Lindsay
- My Name is Monster by Katie Hale
- CTRL S by Andy Briggs
- Golden State by Ben H. Winters
And I took part in two blog tours, sharing reviews of:
I took part in Dewey’s 24-Hour Readathon, and shared a round up post of the four books I read, and I re-posted my review of Wakenhyrst by Michelle Paver along with the gorgeous new paperback cover.
TBR Watch
One bonus of readathon is that my TBR takes a bit of a hit in reading four books over the course of a single weekend. I can normally only dream of such speediness!
I may have treated myself to a few new tomes this month as well 🙂
Hope you ‘re feeling much better Jo and that November is a great month! xx
Thank you, Nicki! x
Hope November is a better month for you x
Thank you! It’s off to a promising start 🙂
