Hosted by Cathy at 746books, 20 Books of Summer is an annual challenge to read and review 20 books from your TBR. This year, the challenge ran from 1 June to 1 September, and you can see my sign up post here.
So – how did I get on? I actually read more than the 20 books required (although they bear little resemblance to those I had planned to read), but I only managed to review 19 of them. I’m counting this as a win. I’ve no real basis for doing so – I just am! 😛
Here are the books I read for the challenge, with links to my reviews (apart from the last one!):

- The Secret Life of Bees by Sue Monk Kidd
- Close to Death by Anthony Horowitz
- The Stranding by Kate Sawyer
- West Heart Kill by Dann McDorman
- Cloud Atlas by David Mitchell

- No. 23 Burlington Square by Jenni Keer
- You Are Here by David Nicholls
- The Course of Love by Alain by Botton
- Eden by Tim Lebbon
- The Puppet Show by M. W. Craven

- Table for Two by Amor Towles
- Queen B by Juno Dawson
- Morgan is My Name by Sophie Keetch
- 8 Lives of a Century-Old Trickster by Mirinae Lee
- The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks by Rebecca Skloot

- The Book of Lost Things by John Connolly
- By Any Other Name by Jodi Picoult
- The Edge of Solitude by Katie Hale
- The Duke and I by Julia Quinn
- The Shadow Key by Susan Stokes-Chapman
