The last book I read was Yellowface by Rebecca F. Kuang, which I absolutely loved.

Athena Liu is a literary darling and June Hayward is literally nobody.

I’m currently reading The Little Stranger by Sarah Waters.

In a dusty post-war summer in rural Warwickshire, a doctor is called to a patient at lonely Hundreds Hall. Home to the Ayres family for over two centuries, the Georgian house, once grand and handsome, is now in decline, its masonry crumbling, its gardens choked with weeds, its owners – mother, son and daughter – struggling to keep pace. My next read might be Birnam Wood by Eleanor Catton.

Birnam Wood is on the move…
