I’m not really sure what to say about October. I don’t seem to have done anything worth reporting on this month although I have been enjoying autumnal walks in Peak District at weekends when the weather isn’t too bad. In some ways, October feels like the middle part of a trilogy to me – Summer is well and truly over, and this month feels like a lull until the excitement of November (my birthday, the Hay Winter Weekend) and Christmas season get underway.
October was at least a good month for reading and I managed to read 9 books this month. Blogging still feels like a chore, however, and I’ve managed to review very few of them. Even writing this post has been delayed as I just don’t have the motivation for it right now. Hopefully my blogging mojo returns… I’m not quite ready to give up on it completely just yet, although I may take a break and see if that helps.

Incoming!
I’ve not received any books for review this month, but I did purchase seven:
TBR Watch
It’s not looking too bad this month, and I have now read all of the titles from my backlist! 💪
- Books out = 9 read + 2 DNFs* = 11
- Books in = 0 ARCs + 7 purchases = 7
- Gives a decrease of 4 in my TBR!
*I may come back to some of the DNFs at a later date, but for now they have been removed from my TBR.

Great to see Bonny & Read as your favourite Jo, as I treated myself t a copy for Christmas! x
Ooooh – I hope you enjoy it Nicki! x
