Reading Challenge

20 Books of Summer 2020 – Wrap Up

Hosted by Cathy at 746books, 20 Books of Summer is an annual challenge to read and review 20 books from your TBR.  This year, the challenge ran from 1 June to 1 September. I love Cathy’s relaxed approach to the rules for this challenge, which are definitely more guidelines than anything else.  You start with a list of 10, 15, or 20 books, and try to read and review them in the specified time frame.

This is the second time that I’ve taken part. Last year saw me manage to read all of the 20 books within the three month window, but I was a little slack in getting my reviews out last year and didn’t quite post them within the specified time frame! 😳

I’ve had no such problems this year, although I’ll admit that my final list bears only a passing resemblance to the 20 books in my sign up post. Some just didn’t work out for me, while others have just been nudged down the TBR pile a little in favour of other books.

Here are the books I DID read, with links to my reviews.

    1. I’ve only read From a Low and Quiet Sea before this one, but have really enjoyed both – I must pick up more of his work.
