March was a quiet month on Jo’s Book Blog. There has been quite a lot going on, mostly (but not entirely) at work, and while I tried not to let it get to me, it did. Alongside this, I fell into an epic reading slump that saw me DNF 5 books (this is unheard of for me in the single month) and I ended up having several days where I didn’t even bother trying to read anything. Blogging was also put on a back burner for similar reasons. I’m hoping that April will be better on all counts.
I posted six reviews in March, of which my favourites were:
I also reviewed:
- The Confessions of Frannie Langton by Sara Collins
- Past Life by Dominic Nolan
- Dirty Little Secrets by Jo Spain
TBR Watch
If there was one positive to come out of March, it’s that my TBR is suddenly looking much slimmer as a result of the DNFs and the frankly amazing feat of only purchasing two new books! 😀 I expect I’ll make up for the lack of purchases in April, but I’m going to enjoy the feeling of smugness while it lasts!
Here’s to a better month!
Yay for slimming down your tbr. I hope the reading slump moves on quickly.
I think I’m past the worst of it now! 🤞
Sorry to hear about things getting to you. Hopefully April treats you far better! 😘
I’m hoping that I’m through the worst of it now! 🤞
Hope you have a great April! 🙂
May April be a much better month for you! x
Thank you, Tina! 😘
